THE NAME

"Holyfield; no relation to Evander" we said it often. Today, I'd rather set the first cornerstone on a new legacy behind the same letters. 

This is my father, Paxton Holyfield.

There was always something about cars that captivated him. Whether he was spending long hours on the road as a truck driver, customizing vehicles in the driveway, watching Jeff Gordon highlights, or attending weekends at Talladega, his passion for the automotive world never faded.

Although we never had the opportunity to build something together, my father's love for the industry inspired me from an early age to create something of my own. Even my initials—MPH—seem fitting. To call it coincidence would feel incomplete.

In his memory, and in pursuit of creating something greater than either of us could have imagined, I have devoted the last five years of my career to learning, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. While I am far from a master technician, I have earned the trust of friends, family, coworkers, and customers by remaining consistent in both my effort and my results.

I currently hold all Ford Express Lane certifications and am continuing my development through an apprenticeship in the main shop, where I work on everything from engine and transmission diagnostics to manufacturer recalls and routine maintenance.

When building a business, there is often pressure to sell yourself or create an image. While it is important to explain why customers should choose us, I want to be transparent: this is my project. It is my opportunity to learn, grow, and establish myself not only as a successful businessman, but as someone who contributes positively to his community.

Like anyone else, I hope this business creates opportunities for my family and provides financial freedom. However, profit is not the purpose. The purpose is to produce value, provide honest service, and build something meaningful that lasts.

Every vehicle entrusted to us represents a relationship, not a transaction. My goal is simple: to earn your trust through quality work, honest communication, and a commitment to doing things the right way. If this business succeeds, I hope it is because people recognize those values and choose to support them.

This company carries my family's name, but more importantly, it carries the lessons, work ethic, and passion that inspired it. I intend to honor that responsibility each day.
